Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Philip R — 11 May 2013
I went to a midnight showing of this movie, and I really enjoyed it. It's always a joy to see Johnny Depp as one of his iconic characters, Jack Sparrow, bringing laughter and entertaining fun to his performance.
Not to mention seeing Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa and Keith Richards again in a cameo appearence as Captain Teague Sparrow. Penelope Cruz was both beautiful and entertaining to watch as the enigmatic Angelica.
Ian McShane, I thought did a great job as Blackbeard. I also enjoyed Stephen Graham (TV's Boardwalk Empire) in his performance as Scrum. Great action and great performances, go see this movie.
