Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Whitney W — 02 Oct 2013

9/30/13 I really enjoyed this film. I've only seen the first "Pirates" movie ( and it's been a really long time) so I didn't really follow some of the references to previous films.

There is pretty much non-stop action in the film, and they keep the fight scenes creative. Of course, the plot is pretty simple, but that's okay if you understand that going in. The character of Jack Sparrow is very likable, and I can't help but laugh at his little jokes.

Johnny Depp does a very good job in the role.
