Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) by Jamie C — 24 Jun 2017

I didn't have much hope for this as the last two even though were not bad they strayed too much from what made the first two great, This one was so much fun, The plot is basically the previous 4 films mixed together, But even if it was predictable it was fun, The effects and the action were great and we all know the Jack Sparrow humour only makes things better, It was nice to see more returning cast for this one even if it's only briefly, I can't comment on the 3D as I watched the 2D version, It's better than 3 and 4, Maybe on par with Dead Mans Chest, Critics too harsh yet again but who cares what they think nowadays anyway, I've been saying since 3 & 4 that they should of been the last but after this one I'm willing to put my faith back in the series and wouldn't mind seeing Jack and the old gang back in the future.
