The movie pays good tribute to the franchise. I really enjoyed the viewing. Barbossamakes this movie an absolute delight. My two pet peeved with the film were: #1 Tia Dalma gave Jack Sparrow the compass as told in Dead Man's Chest. In this movie I'm supposed to forget that detail and believe he received it from his Captain Morgan as a teenager. Hello.
#2 The Queen Anne's Revenge vanished from the movie after Salazar commandeers Barbossa and is never in the film again. What happened to it?! I hate vanishing plot items. *sigh.
