Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) by Madeline C — 14 Jun 2017
I truly enjoyed this movie. I appreciate the writers kept the storyline rather simple, yet full of some twists. I am not sure why so many "professional" critics are giving this movie a bad rep. The directors brought the story almost full circle- instead of Elizabeth and Will, we have a new couple to witness their story unfold. Most importantly, Jack is back to his tricks. The only downside is in earlier movies Jack has this "sauve" about him. This movie, I believe portrays how his has just changed. He was very comical, to say the least, but not as swift Jack as we were first introduced back in movie #1.
Overall, if you love Disney, Pirates, and almost an exact clone of Orlando Bloom on the screen....you'll enjoy this movie !
