Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) by Riff J — 09 Feb 2018
The fifth instalment of the Pirates franchise gives us more of the same; which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you've enjoyed the previous the franchise up to this point, you're likely to be a fan of this one too.
Once again the effects and musical score are of the highest level, and truly enhance the film's quality. The non-stop action keeps the storyline upbeat and interesting throughout. Depp once again shines as the star of this franchise, and the reemergence of Bloom and Knightly were a nice touch.
