This is a return to for the Pirates franchise after the disappointment of "On Stranger Tides". I don't understand the hate this movie is getting. It has a couple of flaws like Jack Sparrow being more of a character played for jokes now but it has two new strong leads portrayed by Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites.
Geoffrey Rush gives a great performance as Captain Barbossa in his final portrayal as the character. Overall a fun movie with great action and a film that goes back to the roots of "The Curse of the Black Pearl".
