Jack Sparrow is back to his crazy antics again in ANOTHER pirate's film. This series was starting to get a little long and pointless with the fourth movie. So of course, we have another one where the same thought comes to mind.

Johnny Depp has stated that this is the last movie of the series, he even watched it. If you do not know this is the first movie he has watched that he has starred in. Mr. Depp seemed to be very proud of this movie and after watching it, he was right to do so.

The franchise finally brought back the drunken pirate we love. With bringing him back though his humor was tiring and predictable. It would have benefited them to switch something up to give us a shock or a different kind of laugh.

Some of the other actors that we run into also seem to lack at selling their character fully as well. Brenton who plays Henry fell short with his skills, now it could be argued that the directors lacked to give him material to help him act to his full potential or he simply wasn't giving his all to the part.

I could feel a disconnect from him in the movie and it could have been better. We are also introduced to Kaya's character, I feel like she played the part as best as she could but, there was something missing that I just can't seem to connect.

On a positive note, this film does a good job at blending in with the rest of the series, it fits in fairly well with all the movies. This movie even solves some of the hanging plot lines we were left with in the disastrous fourth film.

The action sequences even seem to match up nicely and are pleasing to watch. However, some of the graphics seemed to have lacked in different parts of the movie and you would expect more from a film that is in 2017.

If this movie is truly the end that would not be a bad thing, if it isn't the end they need to switch up the material. The franchise is becoming predictable and if they continue the franchise they need to learn how to change it.

In the end, maybe just wait to get the movie for a cheaper price or free because, you might feel it is not worth your money.
