It seems I liked this installment of the Pirates of the Carribean series more than the critics. It's a return to form to the franchise: great fun, some impressive set pieces, and a strong set of casts.
Yet the question is are we experiencing a bit of a franchise fatigue? A good idea stretched too thin over 5 films? This particular weakness may be the reason that it is not as successful as its previous installment.
