Being a avid fan of Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, I really enjoyed this movie, not exactly because of the plot, but because it just seems like a big gathering of everyone that hates Jack Sparrow or past characters reappearing.
The effects in this film was quite different from the first film and that's a plus, but Jack Sparrow doesn't seems like Jack Sparrow in a way...I just think that whoever goes in to see this movie, should look at it as a "fun time" because that's what I did , and I enjoyed it.
Pirates of Caribbean is kind of like this, a film for you to sit back and enjoy.
