In a word, bilge! Slivers of imagination in pieces, but mostly a vacant waste of time, especially Depp's repetitive and Bardem's death-warmed-over shticks. The best part was where Bardem hit the anchor, and the scenes the monkey stole.
And WTF was up with that ending, a Saturday night drunken "Hey watch this"? It all looked like they were going for a different take on dystopia. I left the theater pretty sure that I would have enjoyed "Baywatch" more.
