Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) by Ajai%20 P — 30 May 2017
WARNING: This movie is not something for critics. The movie captures on what made the Original so special, with an absolutely fantastic new villain and great story. Something I would blame in this one, is that, the middle act felt a bit stretching and was not upto mark(would blame Jeff Nathanson for that). Also, Johnny Depp, for some breif moment would make you feel that Jack Sparrow isn't Jack sparrow anymore, more sort of Mad Hatter. The music too was not up to the legend left by Hans Zimmer(talking about the new ones) . But every problem I have with the movie was knocked off by its ending. The final humor from Jack was something that made me burst into laughter. Except for some thing or two, the humor was fantastic. Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning did breath a new life into franchise, which was destroyed by the Rob Marshall installment.
In short, this movie is a must watch, if or if not a Pirates fan. Will make you enjoy it.
