The new characters were so bad (carina's character is so stereotyped) and introduced in such a bad way (salazar just comes outta nowhere) that I would have much preferred if they actually turned over a new leaf with this episode rather than keep on grinding the old ones.
The quest itself is just so disproportionate, looking for such an overpowered item that makes the quests of the previous films look so ridiculous and useless.
