I did not see any of the other films of this franchise. I decided to see this movie because of the more recent trailer which implied that I could enjoy this storyline without having done so. Movie is your usual swashbuckling thrill ride.
Some of stunt driven action sequences are totally unbelievable. Ghost CGI effects are pretty cool.
