Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge shows that bad movies can be ignored. This installation of the franchise could be considered the true 4th movie because it blends comedy and action to the point that it isn't annoying and adds to the scene.
Captain Salazar's origin story is well thought out, and his character is very unique and works well with the movie.
There are some places in the movie where it falls apart, but they are not major stumbles and are easily forgotten.
The movie should definitely be treated as the last of the franchise due to how it all ends and I think that's how the series should stay after the ending of the film.
