Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales is the fifth installment of the swashbuckling Disney franchise and is easily one of the better sequels to come from the series. The film is structurally similar to its predecessors and doesn't really bring anything new to the table, with the exception of two new additions Henry and Carina played excellently by Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario, as well as an incredibly exciting backstory regarding Jack Sparrows confrontation with the delightfully frightening Captain Salazar.

What the summer blockbuster does bring to the table though, is everything to be one, which includes: beautiful cinematography, thrilling over the top action, comedy, an amazing score and some surprisingly emotional scenes which I wasn't expecting to see.

The film is obviously not perfect though, for one the writing is sorta lackluster when compared to the original trilogy and although he's still fun to watch, Jack Sparrow is becoming more and more of a clown as the series progresses.

All in all, DMTNT is one of the better sequels in the franchise and is a fun time in the theater especially if you're a fan of the series.
