Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Angm. — 21 Jul 2006
"Dead Man's Chest" was dumbed-down yet hard to follow. Hardly any of the plot elements made sense, the monstrous characters' (including Capt. Jack) accents were at times impossible to understand, and the lull in excitement in the film's middle hour was unbearable.
I can't believe this mess was the best Verbinski could do with this unique franchise. I feel ripped off.
