Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Max M — 14 Jan 2013
Over-the-top but undeniably fun summer popcorn fare, featuring an army of fish-faced villains, a bad guy with a peg leg and squid face and thick irish brogue, a sea monster taken from Clash of the Titans, a sword fight on a hamster wheel (for lack of a better word), and, best of all, good old ne'er do well asshole Jack Sparrow.
Lots of fun, in the greatest escapist tradition, although it does wear out it's welcome a bit towards the end.
