Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Dr. F P — 16 Mar 2013
It's still just as visually interesting and as fun as the last but Jack Sparrow eventually wears thin as well as Will Turner & Elizabeth Swann. I feel that the sequels to Curse of the Black Pearl were ultimately cash-ins, not that is a surprise but like I said the characters aren't as interesting as they were and I feel that they're the main reason to even give a crap about the rest of the movie.
It's still a good, it has the money to flaunt the best of what can be done but again it has little heart (no pun intended) and all the four in the franchise seem to blur into one giant pirate mess.
