Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Here we are with the sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. This movie is awesome and very adventurous as it would be considering that it involves pirates. And pirates aren't known for staying in one place for long. In this story Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew go after Davy Jones heart.

In this movie we see Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), Bill Turner (Stellan Skarsgard), Norrington (Jack Davenport), Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), Governor Weatherby Swann (Jonathan Pryce), Lord Beckett (Tom Hollander), Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris), Gibbs (Kevin McNally), and the rest of the pirate crew.

Out of the many wonderful things portrayed and seen in this movie, I absolutely loved the scenery. They traveled from port to port and showed many incredible places. The place that I liked a lot that showed a lot of nature and serenity was the island where they found Davy Jones chest, Isla Curces. There was a ruined building that was being run by hydro-power. The huge wheel that once supplied power helped Turner, Norrington, and Sparrow later on the movie.

Something that I found interesting was the interpretation of the Kraken. In other movies its appearance is different. For example in Clash of the Titans, the Kraken looks like a giant vicious turtle with tentacles and in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, the Krakens tentacles and mouth were mainly shown (body was partially shown underwater, the head/body was not extremely clear).

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has a great story and a great deal of "history." In the movie they do mention a lot about pirate history. An example of that would be Port Tortuga. Tortuga played a huge role in the history of pirates. Tortuga was portrayed perfectly, according to the movie; it was the only "free port" still, meaning that it was not owned by the East India Trading Company. And according to history, it was the safest place for pirates.

All in all I thought it was a great movie. I would recommend it for ages 10 and up (maybe ages 8 and up).The whole family can watch it. They will love it. I believe that everyone loves adventure and watching it on screen helps give you ideas of where to travel to. I hope to eventually travel the seven seas myself and travel to all of the locations that I saw in the movie with my family and friends; it will be an amazing adventure that I can't wait to embark on.
