Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Beau F — 14 Aug 2013
Captain Jack Sparrow and the crew are back in the second installment of this crazy swashbuckling series. This time they're headed to take down Davy Jones but trouble stirs along the way. Will finds that his father Bootstrap Bill is part of Davy's crew and in order to save him, Davy's heart must be extinguished.
The film is overall barely worse than the first but it gives it a run for its money. It feels familiar but in this case its a good familiar. Barely breaking through the fresh rating, I give it a 3/5 stars.
