Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Jim A — 11 Feb 2014
It was a significant dip in quality of storytelling from the first movie and it doesn't help that many of its hanging plot threads are extremely poorly answered in the far worse third installment but this feature still features some of the first movies swashbuckling adventure and some really well designed creature effects that hold up well even today.
It may rank higher if not for how badly the third movie ruined its hanging plot but on its own its pretty good.
