Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Erik B — 19 Feb 2014
The ship hasn't quite sank yet, but the cannons have certainly been fired. After a pretty impressive first film, Dead Man's chest introduces a ludicrous, borderline incomprehensible plot involving Davy Jones' heart in a box and all that mumbo jumbo.
But, let's be honest here, it has its moments that are pretty undeniable. It's not very good, but it's not the travesty that the next two films will create.
