Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Abel D — 23 Apr 2014
Clunkier and more drawn out, the second 'Pirates' is still a solid summer ride, just not as polished as its predecessor. The action remains ambitious and inventive, the cast still embrace the tongue-in-cheek, with more Depp antics on offer, and the first half still retains the playfulness of the first.
However, the second devolves into a monotonous chase.
