Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Paul W — 24 Apr 2013

This is the movie where the franchise turns from cleverly realized movie incarnation of a theme park ride to just theme park ride in a movie theater. Like most form of over-indulgence it's fun while it lasts, but once it's done and you walk outside to face the sun, you wonder 'what the heck was that?" and almost instantly begin to regret your choice.

I'm not precisely sorry I saw it, but wouldn't be sorry now, if I hadn't, either.
