Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) by Holly M — 24 Apr 2014
As far as sequels go, to be honest, they all usually stink. Dead Man's Chest isn't much from the truth. It had some good moments, and it was entertaining, but not nearly as good as the original.
There's a lot of voodoo witchcraft in this one, but I like that they acknowledge God in a higher way. But what I liked more about the first one is that it was ground in reality with a hint of fantasy, this one is all fantasy, almost too much.
