It had to happen. No, it did. After Piranha 3D (2010) proved to be a big sleeper hit, combining horror, laughs and porn. A sequel had to happen, and here it is, more of the same and more filth than ever before, but it's absolutely hilarious and this is the sort of stuff 3D should be used for, never mind sci-fi films and action films, it should be used for absolute cheesy filth like this!! :D A year after the piranha attacks on Lake Victoria, in a nearby lake linked by an underground stream, Chet (David Koechner) is about to open a waterpark with an adult themed section, his stepdaughter Maddy (Danielle Panabaker), a marine biology student, objects to Chet doing this, and is even more shocked at him cutting corners, like drilling for water from underground streams for the pools.

But, when Maddy's friends Ashley (Meagan Tandy) and Travis (Paul James Jordan) go missing, and her friend Shelby (Katrina Bowden) ends up with a piranha inside her that severs the penis of her boyfriend Josh (Jean-Luc Bilodeau).

Maddy suspects something is wrong, and she and Kyle (Chris Zylka), and Barry (Matt Bush) investigate, and learn the worst is about to come. You'd have to be mad to enjoy hokum like this, but it manages to be great fun and even though the blood and gore has been seen before, it's great fun, even if there is less nudity than before.

It leaves the door wide open for another film, with Christopher Lloyd reprising his role from before, and hilarious cameos from Gary Busey and David Hasselhoff!!
