Occasionally thrilling, intermittently entertaining, but mostly disappointing. While definitely more outrageous than Piranha with one D, it lacks the brains and soul and trades in the camp for bad taste.
Yet I'm sure we will be seeing another sequel, albeit as a late night feature on the SyFy channel most likely versus a megashark.
