Review of Piranha 3DD (2012) by Ryanaldo B — 30 Oct 2012

So I realized what was missing from this movie... BLOOD AND GORE! While the movie did have its moments where I laughed and a couple of the death scenes were absolutely hilarious... this movie really didn't have the awesome climax that the first movie had.

Changing the setting from a lake to a pool wasn't probably the best idea. It just didn't lend itself to being a good scene to have bloody carnage. While the previous had tons of people getting eaten and ravaged by piranhas, the pool setting had maybe 20 or so and it came off really weak.

It was a huge lost opportunity but I really blame that on the bad script and story. That being said, I did enjoy it for what it was worth. I was just hoping for a bit more. Still, I say watch the movie.
