Review of Piranha 3DD (2012) by Leyla R — 16 Jul 2012
Having seen the Feast trilogy directed by John Gulager, I knew what to expect from PIRANHA 3DD. The first Feast was a brilliant satire but I felt the two that followed weren't as good. But what I was expecting was boobs, a ridiculous amount of violence and John's signature satirical direct(albeit very stupid and funny) direction. I got it.
It was incredibly stupid, but absolutely hilarious.
It's not as good as Piranha 3D but keeps up with its satire and hilarious violence.
I loved the cameos.
Decent cameos from Clu Gulager(return of the living dead), Christopher Lloyd( back to the future) and Garey Busey, and amazing cameos from David Hasselhoff and especially Ving Rhames.
It's worth checking out if you liked the first one.
