Lacking the fun and self-aware campiness of its predecessor, PIRANHA 3DD feels like a half-shot, half-baked, virtually gore-less (in comparison) cheapie sequel that never knows what it wants to do with its scenes.
Some of it is fun, most of it is nice to look at (Danielle Panabaker & Katerina Bowen, OMG), but its just a rather lame cash-in. Oh yeah, and remember that amazingly graphic climax to the last one? This one never cums.
Where the last one took up a spectacular 30 minutes of ending, this one has probably two minutes of carnage. What the fuck happened?
