There's an old Roseanne quote, "I don't want my kids watching sex n' violence; sex or violence, but not together in the same movie" That's how I felt about this movie. Alexandre Aja's previous films, Switchblade Romance and Hills Hve Eyes were enjoyable slasher flicks, and superior to alot of torture porm films.
Piranha can't make its mind up whether it's for gorehounds or Maxim readers. Gratuitous nudity in horror can work - Species for example, but the lascivious scenes in that movie made sense. Oh well, at least Paranha is an excuse for Kelly Brook to strip for Playboy.
