Review of Piranha 3D (2010) by Rachel M — 25 Jul 2014

Alexandre Aja (Mirrors, The Hills Have Eyes (2006), High Tension) directs this bad graphics, blood drenched, sex crazed, and full of nudity film that he calls â?Piranha 3D.â? This film could've done even better in the theater, if it had better graphics, and a lot less nudity.

It probably would've done the same as it did in the theater with the nudity, without the nudity. I think this film is excellent, a top notch horror and gore flick. I like it, but Aja was probably going through some sexual affairs with his wife, that led to him becoming a sex crazed maniac, desperate for some raw footage.

So how can you get away with it? Make a movie! And that's what he did, and decided to put it in 3D and called it, Piranha 3D.
