Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Drew H — 01 Aug 2010
For fans of animation, Pinocchio is worth watching for no other reason than to see some of the innovative techniques that the Walt Disney Studio was pioneering in 1940 -- it's a technically accomplished film without a doubt.
But the story is also great with its dark and weird twists. For example, only one boy makes it out of Pleasure Island alive. And there is a LOT of underage smoking.
