Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Douglas E — 06 Oct 2010
This film is easier to admire then it is to love in my opinion. It's clear to see why the critics love it and most of my friends don't. As a 2-D Disney fanatic I find a lot I like, from the groundbreaking underwater sequences to the extreme terror and eeriness during the Pleasure Island stretch of the film, but there is something about this movie that leaves me a bit cold.
It's a little too disjointed and doesn't move me like it thinks it does!
