Many critics have awarded Disney's "Snow White" as the greatest animated film of all time. I disagree. "Pinocchio" has something for everybody; a father's undying love for his son, a son who yearns to one day become a real boy, a clever cricket who is entrusted with being the boy's conscience, and a blue fairy that teaches us all some life lessons about the perils and pitfalls of lying, low self-esteem, and selfishness.

For as she says herself, "A boy who won't be good, might just as well be made of wood.".
