Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Anne R — 04 Oct 2011
This film is a Disney classic. I like how detailed the artwork was in this movie. An example is all the puppets and music boxes Geppetto had carved. The wood cravings are very detailed, and the objects almost look real.
But, to talk about Pinocchio, I like how he went from not knowing much, to saving his Geppetto from the whale. There is really a theme of coming of age in this film, which is represented by none other than Pinocchio.
And, of course, there is a happy ending.
