Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Galaxy Quest P — 12 May 2013
A lot has come from it as a classic tale, with classic characteristics like the growing nose over lies and the "I'm a real boy".
It was a little unlike the previous Disney movies though, with the children heavily smoking and drinking with the abduction, it was a dark film.
The story is strong, and the dialogue tells an emotional tale but it still feels a little too different and off than what it used to being seen from Disney. The whale eating them seems to be a classic tale, but a little unoriginal.
