Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Monzi S — 03 Aug 2010
Pinocchio is a beautiful film which is poignant yet joyful. Pinocchio is naive good hearted wooden puppet who craves to be a real boy, but is lurred into trouble by many bandits wanting to make money out if him. The characters and songs are very memorable and Pinocchio is a warm hearted, yet sometimes chilling tear jerker. It sends out a good message to kids, the obvious being not to lie and the other not to go off with strangers and listen to the most trusting people. I love the story and the characters in this film. Pinnochio is a lovely film which will make you weep tears of sadness and tears of joy.
