Review of Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982) by Luke F — 16 Aug 2008
The Wall(movie) tries to screw with (and screws up, unintentionally) the formula of The Wall (album) by turning it into an arthouse musical. It tries so desperately to be arthouse-ey that the film becomes difficult to be taken seriously.
The 'plot' was much better just listening to the audio of the album. Contains beautiful imagery, but is still pretty stupid.
