Review of Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982) by T K — 30 Aug 2010
Good movie, and timeless due to Pink Floyd's superb soundtrack. Not an uplifting film, and not as iconic as other early 1980's movies like "Terminator," but worth watching.
Very good imagery, years before CGI. Some of the imagery is cutting-edge. The mixture of television shots into the movie is masterful.
Overacted? A bit. Overdramatic? Yes. Entertaining and a good tale behind "The Wall"? Definitely.
