I think my brain had a heart attack.

PLOT:In this cult classic pulled from the mind of Roger Waters, you learn about a rockstar named Pink and his whole miserable life from his father's death, his overprotective mother, and his rough school life. It's all, to him, "another brick in the wall". The wall being what he creates in his mind to keep himself from all the pain. At first he thinks his rockstar life will take away the pain, but his wall keeps growing, and so he tries to isolate himself in his mental wall completely. It is a very thought-out plot, but almost too professional to the point of boiling over.

ACTING:The only real actor throughout the whole movie is Bob Geldof as Pink. He plays the part very respectively, though he doesn't say a whole lot.

SCORE:As said in the title, the whole movie is scored by Pink Floyd-by their album the Wall. It reminds me of Alice Cooper's The Nightmare; it's a rock opera with every song from the album (that came first) and you don't understand the songs until you see the movie. If you're a big fan of Pink Floyd, then you'll love it. I did, well, the score at least.

EFFECTS/ANIMATION:This had both. The effects were delightful, but not the best. The animation was purely professional. No one could do better.

CAMERAWORK:Nice shots.

OTHER CONTENT:With all the praise I gave it, you should think I should've given it a higher rating, but no. As I said about the plot, it's overbearing. The movie is all around shocking, disturbing, controversial in its time, odd, and thought-provoking to the point of a broken mind; which I think I may have. It's an acid trip on crack!

OVERALL, an ok rock opera with an overbearing plot, a great ACTOR, awesome score for Floyd fans as myself, ok effects and wonderful animation, and nice camerawork. But it is crazy beyond the point of no return.
