Review of Pineapple Express (2008) by Guido S — 02 Jan 2014

I didn't like this when I first saw it, so when I seemed to be the odd man out, I gave this a second watch to see if I didn't get it the first time. It played a lot better the second time. Seth Rogan and James Franco are stoner losers when one day, Rogan witnesses a drug hit and drops a joint with rare weed only Franco has.

So they come after them since they know who sold that weed. Typical buddy comedy/stoner movie after that point. Nice cameos by a lot of comedic actors. The film does sort of run out of steam near the end, but up to that point, it is a lot of dumb fun.
