Review of Pineapple Express (2008) by Megan G — 23 Jun 2012

Stoner flick involving two potheads - Rogan and Franco, both highly believable(!) - on the run from drug dealers and corrupt police, after Rogan sees gangland killing. Those of us who have smoked a lot of weed in our time will recognise many of the gags, some of which are very funny, but it's not really enough to keep the film alive.

The film also attempts a little narrative introspection but it comes across as rather forced and hollow. Not a must see, but not terrible.
