Review of Pina (2011) by James-Masaki R — 14 Mar 2012
Wenders' and dancers worldwide pay tribute to Pina Bausch in a unique film that combines documentary, interviews, scripted and choreographed dance performances, and all in 3D. By using the extra dimension of space, Wenders puts the viewers in the realm of the dancers in various settings and environments.
Quite an experience to see. The only thing I could've wished for was a bigger screen to see it on... and If I had some coffee before the show, as I felt a bit tired so early in the morning....
