Review of Pin Up Girl (1944) by David V — 19 Apr 2008
I felt like I was scraping the bottom of the barrel with this MGM musical but I was pleasantly surprised. Fun plot with some sweet romantic prose. Some really spectacular musical numbers notable the roller skating extravaganza and the hoofing duo of The Condos Brothers was some heavy stuff for the time.
Also, the inclusion of Charlie Spivak's orchestra was another special treat.
