Review of Pin : A Plastic Nightmare (1988) by Brad G — 12 Oct 2010
TWISTED. No budget, wonky acting, but deeply creepy movie revolving around a Norman Batesish teenager and his obsession with his father's (LOST's Terry O'Quinn!) medical dummy. Best of luck to his sister who struggles to understand her brother's sickness and maintain a healthy relationship with her doting boyfriend.
Sure, it cheaply shot, the performances are a little lackluster, and the pacing drags but you gotta appreciate the perversity in the concept. It's definitely worth a watch. VF.
