Review of Pin (1988) by Sean C — 13 Mar 2008
I watched this as a child and remembered it as a poor horror movie about an evil dummy. As an adult I watched it and saw it as a brilliant psychological thriller. Packed with Freudean ideas and disturbing oedipal imagery.
I feel stupid making such a fuss over a Canadian film about a medical dummy, but it's smarter than it looks.
