Review of Pillow Talk (1959) by Amanda R — 28 Jul 2008
Montages of the happy couple walking against a backdrop of where they're supposed to be...Driving scenes in which the car crosses the same stretch of highway five times in a row, while a fake scenery screen bounces along in the rear window.
..Goofy musical numbers inexplicably and completely unrelatedly sung by the star...(Rolypoly? You've got to be kidding me!) All these things combine to demonstrate why I hate older movies. If it weren't for Tony Randall, this movie would be a complete waste of time.
