Review of Pilgrimage (2017) by Edmund A — 09 Mar 2018
Well filmed. Great scenery. A costume EPIC fromIreland. Extremely violent. Its a violent age and religion is the cause of a lot of it. A holy rock is the treasure to be protected or stolen or used as a political prop. Its an ignorant age where the devil, or God lurk under every bush. Its an age where fables are a part of life.
Religion has been used for every purpose and has been the cause of more deaths than the black plague. Even today it divides more than it joins people. A morality play in a movie. I never heard of this and if u can get past the lingering violent scenes it is a decent movie with a message.
